Yoruba experts have hailed this book as one of the most complete with extraordinarily useful tables at the end. Professor Bailey compares the relationships between these similar cultures and spiritualities. This book shows that these paths are not entirely negative, as many people may believe.

Your Psychic Powers and How to Develop Them -- Hereward Carrington      $12.95

       While this book was published in the first quarter of the Twentieth century, we still find it one fo the finest "how-to" volumes about psychic ability available. Carrington is a little challenging to read, but well worth the effort.
        This book is available through our Essential Witchcraft course library program.

Witch's Dozen--Stewart Farrar $12.95

Thirteen occult short stories by that master of Wiccan story-telling, Stewart Farrar. They will keep you enthralled. This is the ultimate page-turner, one difficult to put down before you have finished it. These thirteen short stories are good for young and old alike. Stewart's book also deftly introduces Wiccan fables to everyone.

Pendulum and Possession -- William Finch       $ 9.95
        Bill Finch's book is a great book to read to understand how a pendulum can interpret the psychic realm for you. It can also show you whether or not you are under, gasp, psychic attack or are possessed, or neither. This book went out of copyright a few years ago -- we have attempted to contact Bill's wife to send her royalties, so if you have information leading to her whereabouts, please email Bronwyn Frost and we will follow through. This book has also been a valuable asset to our lending library for the Essential Witchcraft course.
         It is also a great accompaniment if you are learning more about the larger spirit world and have just purchased your first pendulum.

Good Witch's Bible -- Gavin and Yvonne Frost

         This book caused a furor (and is still controversial today) when it was first published in 1972 as The Witch's Bible. It gives complete instructions for practicing the oldest religion, the Craft of the Wise.
This book is currently entering into its third edition for the year 2000.

A Good Witch's Guide to Life -- Gavin and Yvonne Frost       $ 7.95

         This book has been rewritten three times by Gavin and Yvonne and most recently edited by Bronwyn. Good Witch's Guide to Life is a great introduction to Wicca in a non-threatening environment. As one woman from West Virginia put it, "This is no different than what my grandmother did before all these people moved here." It is a short, easy book that covers a lot of topics.

Helping Yourself With Astromancy -- Gavin and Yvonne Frost    $ 9.95

         For those not familiar with the term "astromancy", this book introduces you to Astrology and reading the stars.  This is an excellent complement to our Astrology course. The novice reader will also learn a lot about Astrology. Also look on this site for our Sexual Astrology audio tape.

        This is an historical account of what happens to those who dare to think for themselves. Hopefully the times of persecution have passed for free-thinkers, but we are unsure, even today.  Many Church and School of Wicca Witches endure shunning and negativity for their views.         Gerald Gardner's first published fictional work is reproduced in readable 10-point type with all the original English spelling, dialect, and idiosyncratic usage. A must read for anyone involved in today's Craft.
     This book is about astral travel and Gardner's understanding of multiple reincarnations. The story may be a little challenging to keep track of at first, but the outcome is unpredictable and fun. Enjoy!
High Magic's Aid

        This fictional work was published by Gardner in 1946. It shows Witches in a positive light and makes many caustic comments on the activities of the Church. It describes magical workings based on Gardner's experience in the Craft. You will have to separate for yourself what is true about Witchcraft and when Gardner is pulling your leg.

       This book is for children ages 8 to 12. It discusses the wheel of life in a well-crafted folk tale with many beautifully drawn pictures. It is a great way to introduce children to Wicca or a gentle tale to read at bedtime.

Daemonology -- King James       $ 6.00

        A condemnation of Witchcraft by the notorious King James VI (also author of the King James Bible). This book shows his venomous hatred (fear?) of Witches and anything non-Christian. It makes the reader wonder how sane this Biblical author really was--or how superstitious. It is an interesting read and example of the thinking of the times.
