How to get Gavin and Yvonne Frost to come to
YOUR FESTIVAL!!

      Invite these controversial speakers, the founders of Wicca, to your festival or gathering.  Bring your questions to them face to face.  They do not ask for an honorarium:   only travel and living expenses.

      To figure your costs, look at the following two examples.  They assume the hosts will provide on-site board and lodging.  Please do not assume it is polite to expect Gavin or Yvonne to sleep on the ground.

1.  A festival site 300 miles from Hinton, WV: mileage at $.40 per mile round-trip $240 + 1 meal each way $30 equals $270.

2.  A festival site 700 miles from Hinton, WV: mileage $560 + 2 meals each way $60 +overnight accomodations for travelling $160 equals $780.

For greater distances, an event planner needs to consider airfare from Charleston, WV, plus ground travel to Yeager Field for 200 miles at $80 and airport parking at $10 per day, usually 4 days or so for $40.
Transportation from your airport to the festival site, and lodging and meals at the site, are assumed to be the responsibility of the host group.

     Usually we do two lectures per day plus optional instruction in beginning ballroom dance. (We provide appropriate music, though it will be handy if the host group can provide a CD player.) This is if there are other speakers on the program. If there are no other presenters, we can do up to four presentations per day.

     We also anticipate that the hosts will not object to our offering books and videos for sale.

We are glad to work in your area in the following ways:
   *Advanced publicity of the event on the Church of Wicca's webpage and to the students of the School of Wicca;
   *TV or radio shows (hosts assist in making these arrangements); and
   *book signings, made much easier if hosts provide a list of local bookstores with contact numbers.

       Gavin and Yvonne typically have a busy travel schedule, but an all-expenses-paid trip to Florida (including speaking at your festival) or to some college town to support your pagan/Wiccan activities is not out of the question.
